Formative’s Chief Investment Officer, Theresa Gusman, is on a mission to make sustainable, responsible, and impact investing more customizable, transparent, and accessible to all investors. She is committed to seeking out the latest technologies to enable investors to achieve competitive financial returns and align their portfolios with their own personal values. Theresa strongly believes values-aligned factors have a clear impact on investment performance and MUST be incorporated into investment decisions. Her commitment to incorporating values-aligned issues into investment decisions began early in her 35-plus year investment career. She understands the full investment process, from analyst and portfolio manager to asset and wealth management leadership roles, including Senior Portfolio Manager, Global Head of Proxy Voting, and Global Head of Equities for Deutsche Bank. Theresa joined Formative to apply her knowledge to closing the gap between intention and action in sustainable, responsible, and impact investing. Formative's unique Values-Aligned Direct Index Solution (VADIS) is the manifestation of that goal. Our VADIS provides a unique, proprietary, accessible platform for client assessment – from both the financial and values perspectives – portfolio construction, and transparent impact and financial reporting.
